The terms that apply to the use of the biomarker test and the services of Vitahealth.
Last updated: June 2026
These terms apply to all offers, agreements and services of Vitahealth. By signing up or purchasing a test, you agree to these terms.
Vitahealth offers a biomarker test with a personal health profile and lifestyle advice, aimed at prevention and vitality. The services are not intended for emergency care and do not replace regular medical care by, for example, a GP (general practitioner) or medical specialist.
The results provide information about the measured biomarkers and are interpreted within the scope of the services offered by Vitahealth. The results offer no guarantee about your current or future health. In the event of complaints, abnormal results or doubt, we advise you to contact your GP or another designated healthcare provider.
To take part, you complete a digital intake. Where applicable, a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional assesses whether participation is responsible and appropriate. Vitahealth may refuse a request when, in its professional judgement, the test is not appropriate or responsible, when the participation criteria are not met, or when Vitahealth cannot reasonably perform the services. You are responsible for providing the requested information correctly, completely and up to date.
The prices stated for consumers include VAT, insofar as VAT is payable. Any additional costs, including shipping costs, are clearly stated before the order is placed. The available payment options and the time of payment are shown during the ordering process.
The applicable prices and payment method are communicated in advance.
The periods mentioned are indicative. A reliable result depends in part on correct sample collection; in the case of a defective sample, a new sample may be needed.
The stated delivery and analysis periods are expected periods. If a delay occurs, we will inform you of this where reasonably possible.
If a sample proves unusable through no fault of your own, or cannot be analyzed due to an error by Vitahealth or a party engaged by Vitahealth, we will look for an appropriate solution at no additional cost. If a sample has demonstrably become unusable because the collection or return instructions were not followed, reasonable costs may be charged for a new test kit. This will be agreed with you in advance.
The results and advice are informative and aimed at lifestyle and prevention. They do not constitute a medical diagnosis and offer no guarantee about your health or future illness. In case of doubt or complaints, always contact a doctor.
As a consumer, in the case of an online agreement you have in principle a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days.
For the physical test kit, this period in principle starts on the day after you receive the test kit. You may withdraw from the agreement during this period without giving any reason.
For reasons of health protection and hygiene, the test kit is delivered sealed. The right of withdrawal with respect to the test kit lapses when you break the hygienic seal applied for this purpose after receipt. Opening only the shipping packaging does not count as breaking this seal.
If you withdraw from the agreement while the seal is intact, you notify Vitahealth of this within the cooling-off period and return the test kit no later than 14 days after your notice of withdrawal, in accordance with our return instructions. It will be clearly indicated in advance whether the direct costs of returning the kit are at your expense.
If you expressly request Vitahealth to start providing a service during the cooling-off period, for example a substantive assessment or other separate service, the statutory rules for services during the cooling-off period may apply to it. Where required by law, we will ask for your express request and consent in advance.
In the event of a valid full withdrawal, Vitahealth refunds the amounts due in accordance with the statutory rules.
Vitahealth performs its services with care and to the best of its ability. Vitahealth is not liable for damage that is solely the result of incorrect or incomplete information provided by the participant, or of failure to follow clear sample collection, usage or return instructions, insofar as the damage cannot also be attributed to Vitahealth. Nothing in these terms limits the liability of Vitahealth insofar as such a limitation is not permitted under mandatory applicable law.
Our privacy statement applies to the processing of your data.
Do you have a complaint? Email us at support@vitahealth.nl. We aim to respond within a reasonable period and to find a solution together.
Insofar as statutory complaint or dispute resolution schemes for healthcare providers apply to our services, complaints are handled in accordance with those schemes. In that case we will also inform you about the available complaints officer and the recognized dispute resolution body to which we are affiliated.
The agreement and these terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection to which you are entitled as a consumer. Disputes are submitted to the court with jurisdiction under the law, unless another applicable statutory dispute resolution scheme applies.
Vitahealth may amend these terms and conditions from time to time. In principle, the version that applied at the time an agreement was concluded applies to that agreement. Changes that may by law also apply to an existing agreement are clearly communicated to the participant in advance.
